Corolon System 150

This is for coating the interior of welded steel tanks that are used for petroleum storage. Two component modified epoxy - polyamide system designed to protect metal and plastic surface from environmental attack of petroleum products.

Classification:

Type III - three coat system for use where air pollution regulations restrict organic content to more than 340 g / 1L.

Type IV- two coats system for use where air pollution regulations restrict organic content to less than 340 g / 1L.

The system Corolon 150, confirms to the requirement of U.S. Military and US Navy Standards for coating of petroleum tanks.

This system should not be used for tanks where there is severe general corrosion (metal thickness less than 1/8 inch or 3mm) or where there are numerous holes all the way through the steel plate. Such tanks will require more extensive repairs such as patching or replacement of the steel bottom or installation of fiberglass reinforced lining system.

Coating System:

1. Primer - Corolon #150 (green)

2. Intermediate and top coat - Corolon #152 (Class IV)
